We know what a courageous step it is to start looking for a new faith community! So, go you for taking that brave step! It is especially brave if you are exploring your spirituality for the first time or have experienced trauma in a previous religious setting.
We are a congregation of spiritual refugees and many of us have been right where you are. We commit to being a safe, non-judgmental, soft landing for you. We will be more than happy to help you on your faith journey, even if it turns out we are not the right fit for you.

Feel free to reach out before your first visit. We would love to get to know you and alliviate any worries or concerns you might have about visiting for the first time. We would also be happy to help you connect with our community and our opportunities for love in action work.

What to Expect
When any of us open a church door, we always wonder what we will find on the otherside. Here is what you can expect at Good Sam.
​
Community: You will find an small, intimate, non-judgemental, genuinely warm and welcoming community of folks committed to the Jesus way of love and caring for their neighbors.
​
Worship: You will find our worship is both traditional and out of the box. We sing hymns and contemporary songs. We have some liturgy and moments of silence. It is not unusal for us to have live art in worship, guided meditation or interactive participatory prayer activites. Our sermons are biblically-based, but will stretch the ideas you learned in Sunday school. On first Sundays of the month, come hungry and be prepared to sit at table with us for an interactive, meal-based worship service.

Love in Action: We have some wonderful ways to get involved in serving, doing justice, and building beloved community. Even if you are not interested in making us your faith community, we would still love to have you involved in one of our fantastic love in action programs.
